BrickLink has revealed a first look at a refreshed logo, icons and terms for the world’s largest online LEGO marketplace and community.
Visitors to BrickLink may have noticed some subtle changes taking place over the past few months, such as various improvements now allowing mobile users to more easily navigate the website. Those updates are set to continue this month, as BrickLink rolls out a refreshed logo, icons and terms, all inspired by the company’s heritage.
The most obvious change comes in the form of the BrickLink logo, with the letter ‘L’ now incorporating two 1x2 LEGO plates stacked on top of each other. In addition, there are updated Designer Program and Studio icons, plus new icons for the Marketplace and Community, with the latter featuring blue and green seen throughout the refresh, colours chosen due to their connection to the natural world and the website’s original logo.

“The blue and green colours are colours of nature,” explained BrickLink founder, Dan Jezek. “The blue on top represents the skies in that BrickLink has no limits on where it can go. The different shades of green represent peace and that this is a friendly site with a lot of friendly people (which it is) and is a place to come to relax.”
The refreshed Studio icon will continue to use the four colours of the other BrickLink icons, as a way of celebrating Studio being what is described as ‘the core engine on the platform.’
All four icons will now follow a consistent 1x1 LEGO tile design and should represent a much clearer visual system, especially when viewing the BrickLink website on smaller screens.

Also being added to BrickLink in the months to come will be green and blue brick-built parrots that were part of the original website’s logo, with the fun images representing buyers and sellers being brought together by the brick.

In addition, the BrickLink Designer Program’s name will be shortened from July 2026 to ‘Designer Program’ and is due to appear on model packaging from 2028. In that same year, BrickLink Designer Program sets will instead be referred to as a ‘Collection’ going forward, with release cycles to be known as ‘waves’ instead of ‘series.’
For instance, one example given is that what would have previously been called ‘Series 12’ will now be called ‘2028 Wave 1 Collection’.
“The refresh of the wordmark and icons celebrates everything the community has built and recognises the breadth of experiences that are now available on BrickLink.com,” said Head of BrickLink, Steven Lee. “Simplicity has been key in the designs because they need to help anyone visiting the website to find what they’re looking for at a glance.

“Inspired by Dan’s original idea as well as the spirit of community past, present and future, the refreshed icons meet our users’ needs while standing as a strong link to the heritage and the future of the BrickLink brand. It’s great to know that connection is so strong throughout the design.”
The changes to the BrickLink website are intended to be rolled out gradually across the website from June 2026 in phases, as part of ongoing replatforming work that includes improved functionality.
It’s worth noting that crowdfunding for all five BrickLink Designer Program Series 8 sets is due to end on June 18, if you’re hoping to secure any of those LEGO models, and you can find out more about the builds right here.
