LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 8 crowd vote now open
The crowd support phase for the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 8 is now open, with nearly 400 submissions asking for your support.
From grand castles to continuations of familiar series, the eighth series of the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program is underway as the round has moved to the crowd vote stage. It’s here where fans online can have their say on the 384 designs submitted and influence which five models are picked as finalists.
The crowd vote has an impact on this important decision, but at the end of the day, a panel of judges will have the final say. Of the 384 submissions, there are quite a few familiar faces, with many previously successful fan designers hoping to continue collections of sets in Series 8.

There are even more new fan designers in the mix, too, though, including ver555. They’re proposing a LEGO Castle crossover build with portals leading to all kinds of classic themes. It’s an inventive twist on the popular genre of sets and one that would make for an interesting physical build.
The Eastern Alliance by BrickyBricks82 is a major highlight in the series with a 4,000-piece castle that has a familiar design and layout. Whether it will find success has yet to be seen, but Castle models traditionally do well in the BrickLink Designer Program.
The crowd support phase of Series 8 is open from now until May 16. You can see all 384 submissions and vote using the emoji-based system by clicking here. To see what has been successful in the BrickLink Designer Program so far, click here.
