LEGO Christmas Advent Calendars 2019: December 24
Tomorrow is the big day – what will round out the LEGO Star Wars, Harry Potter, City and Friends advent calendars?
Each year the LEGO Group releases a selection of advent calendars to count down the days until Christmas with a small build behind every window. While Star Wars, City and Friends are all back this year, Harry Potter has been introduced to the festive countdown collection for the first time.
Day 24
Ho, ho, ho! Santa Claus is coming to town! Father Christmas arrives in City today, and while the minifigure may be familiar, it is the most appropriate way to conclude an advent calendar.
In Harry Potter, Harry’s key items for school are included. Hedwig, a chest containing his wand, a spell book, a cholcolate bar and a special printed tile that serves as his letter of introduction to Hogwarts.
Friends offers a neat snowflake that feels a little anticlimactic.
It seems the budget for the Star Wars edition has gone down, with no new printed parts again for the festive character. The Porg with Santa hat does look amusing though, largely thanks to the downturned smile.
The doors are all open – Christmas day arrives tomorrow!
Check back every day to see what is behind the door of each of the four LEGO Advent Calendars.
