LEGO Christmas ornaments can decorate your home, no matter your budget, with a wide variety of official options, and even an unofficial one.
It's coming up to Christmas, and it will soon be time to start decorating your home for the holidays. Why not introduce a LEGO twist or two to this year's theme with the world of LEGO Christmas ornaments? There are dozens of options for LEGO Christmas ornaments online, with prices varying depending on your budget.
Here's what you need to know about the world of LEGO Christmas ornaments for 2025, including one unofficial option you can easily make yourself.
LEGO Christmas ornament sets
The easiest place to start with LEGO Christmas ornaments is the array of official sets that can be used to decorate your home at this festive time of year.
This year's LEGO Christmas ornaments set, 40744 Christmas Ornament Selection, is available now for £8.80, down from £10.99, offering a simple and affordable way to add a touch of LEGO to your Christmas tree. Alternatively, last year's 40642 Gingerbread Ornaments is also still available on Amazon for £18.37, and these models can be customised to create cute gingerbread characters.
Those who don't need any more decorations for their tree can find ornament-style LEGO models to dot around their home; some good options are also available online. There's 40640 LEGO Nutcracker for £15, ideal for decorating a countertop this festive season.
You can also consider the more traditional 40573 Christmas Tree. It can be built into either one larger tree, or one mid-sized and one smaller tree, to spread the festive cheer around your home.
For anyone with a bigger space to decorate and plenty of budget, you won't get much better in terms of LEGO Christmas ornaments than the Winter Village Collection. Similar to the plastic and ceramic village models that combine into a larger world, this range is a LEGO take on that concept, making them just as, if not more, functional.
Currently available entries into this collection include both
Solid LEGO Christmas ornaments
The LEGO Group regularly teams up with Hallmark to release a range of solid LEGO Christmas ornaments each year, usually based on minifigures. There are four currently available on Amazon for around £12 each. These include Brick Suit Girl, Brick Suit Boy, Benny the spaceman, and a gingerbread man. These will only be useful for decorating your Christmas tree, but they're much less likely to break apart during the festive season than LEGO models.
Make your own LEGO Christmas ornaments
There is a way to blend the best of both worlds, while potentially saving some money this holiday season. The LEGO Group used to offer transparent baubles filled with elements and miniature builds, and as much as they have retired and fetch a high price on the aftermarket, making your own is easy and affordable.
Amazon has several options for transparent baubles, including one costing £6.16 for 20 pieces. Combine these with some small circular plates for a buildable base, such as this pack on Amazon, and they're ready to be filled with models and minifigures, including the festive characters from this year's LEGO Advent calendars.
These are much more affordable than the official options on the secondary market, going for as low as £30 for one, and can be customised with whatever you would like inside. It's practically perfect for LEGO fans on a budget.
