LEGO City Beach Party to open at LEGOLAND Japan

LEGOLAND Japan is about to open the theme park’s first water play area.

LEGO City Beach Party will be the first water play area to open at LEGOLAND Japan, as well the first new attraction since the destination opened last year. Local children from Nagoya were invited to a special preview, where they could splash around in a paddling pool surrounded by LEGO themed water play features, Kyodo News reports.

As well as the water based play zone, there is also space for children to build a LEGO boat that they can then float in a separate pool area. Mocktails will also be sold nearby so that families can enjoy the feel of summer whilst enjoying the new attraction.

This new area opens on Saturday, June 30, and will remain open until September 2.
