New LEGO City, Friends and Technic summer 2023 sets listed online
A price comparison site has published new listings for LEGO City, Friends and Technic sets reportedly on the way in summer 2023, including a new botanical garden.
It sounds like we’re in store for some cross-pollination between LEGO Friends and the Botanical Collection, as brickmerge.de has listed 41757 Botanical Garden for release in June 2023. It’s one of several new products to have appeared on the price comparison tool, and will apparently include 1,072 pieces – placing it among the upper echelons of LEGO Friends products in terms of part count.
Also on the way in June (according to brickmerge) is 60378 Arctic Explorer Truck and Mobile Lab, another addition to the LEGO City Arctic subtheme that’s said to be making a comeback this summer. Before now, only two Arctic-themed sets were rumoured to be on the way in June, in the form of 60369 Arctic Explorer Ship and 60376 Arctic Snowmobile. You can check out more on those sets here.

Finally, brickmerge has published a new listing for 42146 Liebherr LR 13000 Crawler Crane, a set that was initially rumoured to be coming all the way back in summer 2022. It was then seemingly bumped to the first half of 2023, and the latest info suggests it’s been pushed back again to August this year. The set is now expected to include 2,883 parts (one more than previous) and retail for €449.99 in Europe.
LEGO theme | LEGO set | Price | Pieces | Release date |
---|---|---|---|---|
LEGO City | 60378 Arctic Explorer Truck and Mobile Lab | TBC | 489 | June 2023 |

LEGO Technic | 42146 Liebherr LR 13000 Crawler Crane | €449.99 | 2,883 | August 2023 |
While brickmerge has proved fairly reliable in the past, none of these sets should be considered concrete releases until they’re officially unveiled by the LEGO Group.

- I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
