LEGO Creator August sets quickly inspire alternate builds

The new range of LEGO Creator 3-in-1 sets has quickly inspired some impressive alternate builds to fill multiple gaps in your collection.

One of the most impressive rebuilds to surface this early is a recreation of 10228 Haunted House using three copies of 31167 Haunted Mansion and a standard baseplate. The pieces in the new LEGO Creator 3-in-1 model lend themselves well to the design of the massive Monster Fighters set, and re-bricked's design even comes complete with an impressive interior, considering the available elements.

As mentioned in our recent review of the new set, 31167 Haunted Mansion is more than just a Monster Fighters re-run, but this alternate design will certainly help to fill the gap in your collection, though you might want to wait until 31167 Haunted Mansion is on sale to pursue this model.

The new LEGO Creator castle has been expectedly popular for rebuilds online, including an expansion of an existing LEGO collection.

The_Astral_J has been turning LEGO sets into book nooks long before the LEGO Group started the recent collection of bookshelf inserts, now turning their creative gaze towards 31168 Medieval Horse Knight Castle. For those with a smaller castle-shaped hole in their collection, this alternate build is a good use of space, still featuring plenty of room to pose minifigures inside the fortress and in the courtyard.

These surely won't be the last of the fan-made rebuilds for 31168 Medieval Horse Knight Castle, but they're some of the best to turn up so soon after the LEGO Creator castle launched on August 1, 2025.
