Fans will be able to get a look at the set for the first time, as well as buy it for themselves. The LEGO set designer, Michael Psiaki, and Aston Martin VP and Chief Creative Officer, Marek Reichman, will be at the store to sign sets.
The set is expected to launch at [geot exclude_country=”United States”]shop.LEGO.com[/geot][geot country=”United States”]shop.LEGO.com[/geot] and other LEGO Stores at around the same time. For the first two weeks, it will only be available to VIP members, with a full release on August 1.
James Bond made the Aston Martin DB5 famous in Goldfinger, the third film in the 007 series. As well as being an appealing car in its own right, the various gadgets installed by Q Branch captured the imagination of audiences. The car has returned in several Bond films since that first appearance.
Brick Fanatics has come up with a wish list for which gadgets should be included in LEGO Creator Expert 10262 James Bond Aston Martin DB5 – in a few hours, fans will find out how many made it into the actual set.
