LEGO Creator Expert 10276 Colosseum launched yesterday – and it’s already on backorder at LEGO.com.

The largest LEGO set ever has clearly proved popular despite its eye-watering entry price, because current orders won’t ship until January 19, 2021. That’s in the UK, anyway – in the US, it’s marked as ‘temporarily out of stock’, so you can’t place an order at all.

The 9,036-piece 10276 Colosseum debuted yesterday, retailing for £449.99 / $549.99. Early adopters were rewarded with a Roman Chariot gift-with-purchase, but it seems that stock of that freebie has also now run out.

Fortunately, there are still plenty of Black Friday deals to keep you going. As well as 20% off selected sets, LEGO.com is currently offering a free 40410 Charles Dickens Tribute with a £150 / $150 spend, and the chance to earn 1,000,000 VIP points.
