Roman Chariot sells out at LEGO.com – Black Friday deals

The Roman Chariot gift-with-purchase – free with orders of 10276 Colosseum – appears to have sold out at LEGO.com.

The latest Creator Expert set is already on backorder in the UK, but you can still add it to your bag. When you arrive at the checkout, though, you won’t find the Roman Chariot added to your order. That suggests stock has already been depleted, so you may have missed out if you haven’t yet ordered your Colosseum.

Of course, the real draw of a 9,036-piece set isn’t actually in the freebie. And at least in the UK, you can still place your order for what’s now the largest LEGO set ever released in 10276 Colosseum. It just won’t ship until January 19, 2021.

If you’re in the US, though, the situation is even less promising. That’s because the Colosseum is marked as ‘temporarily out of stock’, meaning you can’t even add it to your bag. It’s impossible to know whether the Roman Chariot has also sold out in the US, then, given the only way to get it is by ordering 10276 Colosseum.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
