LEGO deals of the week: final chance for retiring set savings
With 2025 quickly coming to an end, it’s the final chance for an array of LEGO deals on sets retiring this year, from Ideas to City.
Christmas is around the corner (hopefully you’ve got most of your shopping done by now), and beyond the big day is the end of this year. Alongside the excitement of another 12 months of LEGO news and releases, the end of 2025 also means the retirement of dozens of major LEGO sets, most of which have already sold out.
There’s still time to pick up a select few of these sets, with savings available right now. Zavvi has some of the best retiring LEGO model deals, including Friends’ detailed and adorable 42669 Beekeepers’ House and Flower Garden for £32 off just before it leaves shelves. The natural build makes a great standalone display, and it’s at a scale compatible with minifigures as well as mini-dolls.
LEGO City’s 60422 Harbour is also £32 off, just before it sails away, making for an easy add-on to your city with everything a seafront needs for £62.99 instead of £94.99.
Animal Crossing enthusiasts can pick up some of the franchise’s most iconic characters in 77052 K.K.’s Concert in the Plaza for £46.99 instead of £69.99 at Zavvi right now, too. There’s even £21 off 77050 Nook’s Cranny & Rosie’s House, with one of the series’ most well-known characters exclusively.
Switching to John Lewis, the retailer is offering one last discount on a couple of store-exclusive LEGO Ideas models before they leave shelves, and after they have sold out on LEGO.com. You can score 10% off both 21343 Viking Village and 21342 The Insect Collection, with unique models and minifigures between them.
Looking beyond the LEGO sets retiring at the end of 2025, there are a few other great deals to consider this week, including GAME’s £25 reduction on 75685 Emerald City Wall Art. The Wicked set remains one of the most visually unique wall art builds, and it comes with an array of exclusive minifigures. It’s ideal for older fans of Wicked with limited shelf space.
There’s £20 off 10358 Soundwave to be had at Very, featuring a trio of robot builds, all of which can transform, as well as a miniature transformed Soundwave and a next-generation sound brick that takes the set’s functionality to the next level.
Sticking with Very, don’t overlook the retailer’s £20 discount on 21358 Minifigure Vending Machine either. The LEGO Ideas model is exclusive to Very outside of the LEGO Group and is packed with new minifigures to vend and collect. That’s not to mention the genius mechanism featured within the build.
