LEGO Disney 100th anniversary mural dates and locations revealed

The full details of the upcoming LEGO Disney 100th anniversary murals have been confirmed, including events in Manchester, New York and Paris.

Celebrating both the centennial anniversary of Disney and the reveal of 43222 Disney Castle, a huge mural was showcased by artist Lakwena Maciver. However, this is just one of three giant builds that will now be available to view and help build around the world.

The Manchester, Paris and New York events were confirmed as part of the initial reveal, but no dates or specific locations were mentioned.

Thankfully, the LEGO.com listing for 43222 Disney Castle has now been updated with full details on where you’ll be able to find these models and when.

Each mural will be on show for just a few days across July, but you’ve got time to plan your trip before the events begin. The home for each artist may offer an idea of what mural you can find at each event, but specifics have not been confirmed.

Possible mural and artist Dates Location
Paris-based Amy Jones July 7 to July 8 Near Westfield Forum Les Halles, Paris
London-based Lakwena Maciver  July 14 to July 17 Arndale Shopping Centre, Manchester
New York-based Kristin Texeira July 27 to July 29 Pier 17 The Seaport, New York City

Maciver’s mural is revealed in the initial press release as one of four murals, with the other three being featured at worldwide events and their concepts being pictured in the above gallery.

Once the events are over, the four murals will be displayed at the LEGO House in Billund, Denmark from August 23 to an unknown date.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
