LEGO Disney’s Haunted Mansion is perfect for a limited-time crossover

The Haunted Mansion has a new LEGO set in 40521 Mini Disney The Haunted Mansion and it’s perfect for a brick-built crossover for a limited time.

For the month of August, you can combine 40521 Mini Disney The Haunted Mansion with 71033 The Muppets as a tribute to The Muppets Haunted Mansion special, but you don’t have long to do so.

For those who haven’t yet finished collecting all of 71033 The Muppets, you might want to be quick as it’s scheduled to retire at the end of August 2022, giving you just over two weeks to wrap it up at the time of writing.

With Kermit, Gonzo, Miss Piggy and more of the Collectible Minifigures, you can create an homage to The Muppets Haunted Mansion special in your collection when combining them with 40521 Mini Disney The Haunted Mansion.

It’s not the first time that two of the LEGO Group’s sets have coincided with their source materials crossing over as The Minions recently combined with The Office, prompting a LEGO crossover between LEGO Minions: The Rise of Gru and 21336 The Office.

40521 Mini Disney The Haunted Mansion and 71033 The Muppets is available now on the official online store with the latter retiring at the end of the month.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
