LEGO display comes to Twycross Zoo with the Great Brick Safari

Visitors can see more than just the real animals at Twycross Zoo, with The Great Brick Safari opening at the venue today.

The travelling LEGO exhibit from Bright Bricks, the Great Brick Safari, will be at Twycross Zoo for the next few months.

This interactive experience is made up of 70 models representing 27 different animal species, using 882,339 LEGO bricks. Models include a zebra, an lion and a gorilla. It took 7,586 hours in total for the Bright Bricks team to put together all of the animal sculptures.

“We’re really looking forward to hosting the Great Brick Safari, which promises to be a fantastic day out for the whole family to enjoy. It’s a fun and engaging way of showcasing some of our amazing species, whilst welcoming some wonderful new animals to the zoo,” Karen Clarke, Chief Operating Officer at Twycross Zoo told Coventry Live.

The Great Brick Safari will be at Twycross Zoo from October 20, 2018 until January 7, 2019. Tickets to visit can be booked at the attraction’s official website.
