LEGO double points event and new GWPs confirmed for December 2024

The LEGO Group has confirmed that a double Insiders points event will take place later this month alongside the launch of two new festive freebies.

If you didn’t get your fill last weekend or didn’t quite fancy any of the sets on sale throughout Black Friday and Cyber Monday, the LEGO Group is offering one last chance to maximise returns at LEGO.com and in LEGO Stores ahead of Christmas. The next LEGO Insiders double points event will take place from December 6 to 10, according to email newsletters sent to select fans.

Both of this year’s LEGO Christmas gifts-with-purchase will go live on the same day, as confirmed by LEGO UK and Jay’s Brick Blog. Check out the table below for details on those.

LEGO GWPRequired spendAvailability
40702 Christmas Picture Frame£65 / $70 / €70December 6 to TBC
40701 Ballerina & Nutcracker Scene£135 / $150 / €150December 6 to 12

These gifts will both stack, so if you reach the threshold for 40701 Ballerina & Nutcracker Scene you’ll also receive 40702 Christmas Picture Frame (while qualifying for double points at the same time). That’s a pretty good return to say Black Friday is firmly behind us, so it’s good news if you’ve still got some Christmas shopping to do (even if it’s for yourself).

Bear in mind that pre-orders no longer count towards gifts-with-purchase at LEGO.com, but do qualify for double points. An early 10% return could still prove incentive enough to pre-order any of the newly-revealed 2025 sets that have just gone live, such as 75402 ARC-170 Starfighter, 76444 Diagon Alley Wizarding Shops and 76314 Captain America: Civil War Action Battle.

Sign up to the LEGO Insiders program today if you haven’t already, and head here to check out the full list of sets confirmed and rumoured for 2025 so far.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.

Hi
I just spoke to Lego as I couldn’t find the picture frame on their website. They said that they can’t advise me of anything upcoming, so I checked another fan site and they are all saying that it releases on the 13th December.
