LEGO double VIP points event and GWPs rumoured for June 2023

Double VIP points and several gifts could be about to return to the official online store in June, according to the latest LEGO rumour.

Promobricks report that from June 9 to June 13, 2023, you’ll be able to get double VIP points on all purchases made online or in a LEGO store. This results in 10% cashback instead of the usual five percent and it’s one of the best times to pick up the biggest LEGO sets. The points can also be used towards exclusive rewards instead of discounts.

While the rumour has yet to be confirmed, 71799 NINJAGO City Markets, 76252 Batcave – Shadow Box and dozens more models are releasing before this reported date, so you might want to hold off on your June 1 purchases. The risk with that tactic is that they may run out of stock after eight days, but that’s a risk you might have to take for double VIP points.

As well as the rumoured event, the source reports that 40589 Pirate Ship Playground will be offered with purchases of €100 or more from May 22 to June 3. Also said to be available during this timeframe is 40529 Children’s Amusement Park with orders of €150 or more.

40607 Summer Fun VIP Add-on Pack, which was revealed via the instructions database previously, is then rumoured to be available from June 4 to 16 with orders of €50 or more and, based on previous VIP packs, is likely only going to be offered to VIP members.

Notably, the rumour also states that 41960 Big Box is going to be free from June 20 to 28 with purchases of €70 or more from DOTS, Friends, City, Minecraft or Disney Princess only. 40590 Houses of the World 2 is also reported to be available during this time with orders of €250 or more.

These deals are only reported for Europe as indicated by the currency, but LEGO stores worldwide see similar offers usually. The LEGO Group has not confirmed anything at the time of writing so don’t plan any purchases until we know more.
