LEGO double VIP points live now in the UK and Europe

The LEGO Group’s latest double VIP points event is now underway in the UK and Europe, offering the chance to maximise your return on online and in-store purchases.

From today through February 28, VIP members can score up to 10% cashback on all purchases, in the form of points to spend on future orders or exclusive rewards. That’s twice the usual rate of 5%, making this essentially the best time to pick up all those exclusive sets that aren’t available with discounts elsewhere.

We’re talking the likes of 75252 Imperial Star Destroyer, 10266 NASA Apollo 11 Lunar Lander and 92176 NASA Apollo Saturn V, all of which are also due to retire by the end of this year. They’re just three of five sets we’ve already picked out as ripe for scoring double VIP points on, but don’t forget to check out the entire list of retiring sets to see where best to spend your LEGO budget.

Of course, if you’re all caught up on the LEGO Group’s portfolio from 2021 and earlier, there’s also a whole bunch of new-for-2022 sets you should have your eye on. This event unfortunately comes just a little too early for all the dozens of March releases, but there’s plenty from January and February worth your time.

This is effectively the best deal yet on the newly-launched 21332 The Globe, for instance, while we’d be remiss if we didn’t also suggest stocking up on copies of 31129 Majestic Tiger. Once you’ve got one copy, you’ll want a second to build it in white

Head over to LEGO.com to take advantage of the latest double VIP points event before stock of the sets you’re after runs out. This is only live in the UK and Europe at the moment – a similar event for the US will take place from March 12 to 14.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
