LEGO DREAMZzz 2025 set rumour teases VR piece

Rumoured LEGO DREAMZzz 2025 set descriptions have surfaced online, naming new characters and teasing an exciting minifigure accessory.

Instagram user fateful_lego has reported descriptions for six of the many LEGO DREAMZzz sets rumoured for 2025 with some interesting details that may infer parts of the story to come, should they be accurate.

Given the current landscape of LEGO rumours, we’d advise taking this report with an extra pinch of salt just in case anything turns out to be inaccurate, though an accessory teased in one of the sets may be exciting for gaming enthusiasts.

71487 Z-Blob’s Robot and Vehicle Adventures

71487 Z-Blob’s Robot and Vehicle Adventures is stated to include 19 alternate build options for Z-Blob including a robot, race car, jet, helicopter and a scorpion. Mateo is rumoured to be included in the 121-piece build that is rumoured to cost $9.99.

71488 Bunchu’s Creative Animal Adventures

71488 Bunchu’s Creative Animal Adventures was previously rumoured to cost the same as 71487 Z-Blob’s Robot and Vehicle Adventures and it’s now reported to be the same concept too, but replacing Z-Blob with Bunchu with the ability to rebuild the figure into 19 different animal builds.

71489 Cooper’s Flying Video Game Controller

The 30698 Cooper’s Flying Controller polybag might offer an idea of what to expect from this rumoured set as it sounds similar to the rumoured 71489 Cooper’s Flying Video Game Controller. According to the new report, the set features a gaming controller model that can be rebuilt into a speeder jet or helicopter. A spider figure is said to be included alongside Cooper, matching what we see in the polybag.

71490 Izzie and Bunchurro the Gaming Bunny

Another Bunchu bunny set is rumoured for next year and according to the user, 71490 Izzie and Bunchurro the Gaming Bunny will be a new version of the character with a screen on their stomach with game controller gloves and shoes. Bunchu is said to be customisable with a jetpack and skateboard. Izzie is rumoured to be included alongside a carrot Dreamling and something called a Cyberling, which may be the cyber spider figure seen in 30698 Cooper’s Flying Controller.

71491 Mateo with the Z-Blob Action Racer

LEGO DREAMZzz 71471 Mateos Off Road Car 1 1 1024x769

Another Z-Blob car is rumoured for LEGO DREAMZzz in 2025 and 71491 Mateo with the Z-Blob Action Racer is said to depict a car that can be rebuilt into a motorcycle. The user also states that the windscreen, wheels and a pair of stud shooters can be removed.

The most exciting part of the new rumour for this set though is the minifigures. It’s claimed that as well as Mateo and Z-Blob, a new character named D-Shock will be featured as the villain alongside a cyber brain spider figure and a VR Dreamling. Since Dreamlings use minifigure heads, this might mean a new VR headset accessory for minifigures, should this rumour be accurate.

71497 Cooper’s Tiger Mech and Zero’s Hot Rod Car

LEGO DREAMZzz 71484 Coopers Robot Dinosaur C Rex 1024x768

Cooper is rumoured to be getting another big build next year in the form of 71497 Cooper’s Tiger Mech and Zero’s Hot Rod Car, the latter half of which is claimed to be for the new Zero minifigure. Notably, two cars are rumoured for the set alongside a robot creature. It’s also believed that the set will feature Cooper, Z-Blob, Zero and a normal dreamer minifigure alongside another cyber brain spider figure and a pair of something called Cyberlings. These may be a corrupted version of Dreamlings allied with the 2025 villains.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
