LEGO DREAMZzz isn't done, with two new crossovers announced

Even though every LEGO DREAMZzz set is due to retire this year, it would appear the theme isn't done just yet, with two massive crossovers confirmed.

The LEGO Group has just announced that DREAMZzz will be crossing over with both Fast & Furious and How to Train Your Dragon in a new collaboration of some kind. A teaser posted on YouTube features Z-Blob crossing paths with Toothless, but the title and description confirm that there will be Fast & Furious cars, too.

Without delving into spoilers, the description also confirms much of the plot, indicating that this collaboration will be in the form of a video and include Hiccup. This likely means an official minifigure design of Hiccup from How to Train Your Dragon, since all of the DREAMZzz human characters appear as minifigures.

The only LEGO How to Train Your Dragon set on shelves so far is the 10375 How to Train Your Dragon: Toothless buildable figure. It includes no minifigures and depicts Toothless as a stylised figure, rather than something more proportionally accurate.

While this original set wasn't exactly what fans were expecting, it performed well in our review despite the lack of accuracy.

10375 How to Train Your Dragon: Toothless is available right now for £59.99 / $69.99 / €69.99, and news of this crossover indicates that the partnership is still active. We can only hope that the upcoming Hiccup minifigure will be a tease for something more.

We don't know when this new LEGO DREAMZzz collaboration will arrive, but be aware that all of the theme's current sets are due to retire later this year.
