While there are obviously plenty of big and expensive LEGO sets launching next month, there are also quite a few that come in at £24.99 or less in the UK. That’s the sweet spot for an impulse purchase if you’re passing the LEGO Store, or the sort of set you can use to bump your order up to reach the threshold for a gift-with-purchase.

LEGO Minecraft’s expansion into brick-built characters continues to serve up attractive options at low prices, and if you know your memes you’re probably going to want 21582 Chicken Jockey. You can’t really go wrong with 344 pieces for less than £25, either.
40883 Halloween Skull Candle

Christmas in July is over, it’s time for Halloween in August. One of three new Seasonal sets dropping next month (all of which are under £25, as it happens), 40883 Halloween Skull Candle is the most interesting for bringing something completely different to the table. Come for the spooky eyes, stay for the spilled poison bottle.
75641 Dr. Hiriluk’s Hideout

LEGO One Piece is two-for-two now on entry-level sets, following up last year’s excellent 75636 Windmill Village Hut with 75641 Dr. Hiriluk’s Hideout in August. This Season 2 set is another flashback build that serves up a couple of exclusive characters, plus the easiest way to add the new Tony Tony Chopper figure to your collection – not bad for under £25.
