Upcoming LEGO DREAMZzz TV series receives praise from some familiar faces

Some very familiar faces have been heaping praise on the upcoming LEGO DREAMZzz TV series ahead of the show’s imminent launch.

The brand new LEGO DREAMZzz theme will be arriving online and in-stores later this year, with at least 11 sets launching on August 1. Builders of all ages will soon be introduced to a unique cast of characters and get to step into a fantasy realm where imagination is the only limitation.

Ahead of the arrival of physical models, an original LEGO DREAMZzz animated series will be available to watch from May 15, 2023. Initially revealed to be premiering for free on YouTube, a recent announcement from the LEGO Group confirmed the show would also be released on Prime Video, Netflix, ITVX and Sky Kids on the same day. A total of 10 episodes of the LEGO DREAMZzz series will drop on May 15, with the same number to follow on August 1 to accompany the first wave of sets.

The LEGO Group’s Instagram account has been busy promoting the show, with early reviews coming in from some very familiar faces. A short tongue-in-cheek video on the social media platform sees the upcoming LEGO DREAMZzz series receiving praise from the likes of NINJAGO’s own Nya, “A classic tale of good vs evil,’ LEGO City’s Rocket Racer, “I hear they do their own stunts,” LEGO Creator 3-in-1 Pirate Captain, “ARRR! They had me at Shark Ship,” and er… LEGO Technic Motorcycle, “BEEP BEEP BEEP! VROOM!”

In fact the LEGO DREAMZzz series seems to have received glowing reviews from all kinds of brick-based characters, except for Lord Garmadon. The multi-armed NINJAGO villain gave the show a measly one star, stating, “That Nightmare King has nothing on me!”

We’ll find out if the LEGO DREAMZzz animated series does indeed live up to its own hype when the show emerges from the dream realm on May 15, 2023.
