LEGO Dungeons & Dragons could change everything for LEGO and Hasbro
The long-awaited reveal of LEGO Ideas 21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale might not be what some fans of the tabletop game were expecting.
The newly-revealed LEGO Ideas 21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale is finally here and out in the wild. Having first started collecting ideas for a Dungeons & Dragons-themed set back in October 2022, the LEGO Ideas set based on the iconic IP has been a long time in the making, to say the least. That means a lot of hype has built up around 21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale, ahead of it finally getting released today.
While it’s an impressive set with an even more impressive array of minifigures, 21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale might not be quite what Dungeons & Dragons players are expecting – or even what LEGO fans themselves are expecting. That’s not to say it’s a bad thing, only that it could be unexpected – and have some far-reaching effects on how consumers approach the LEGO Group and Hasbro moving forward.
