LEGO Editions said to move into music with Olivia Rodrigo set
LEGO Editions has been focused on sports so far, but is now rumoured to be moving into the world of music, starting with Olivia Rodrigo.
Following on from a very sparsely detailed rumour about an Olivia Rodrigo set earlier this year, we’ve now got rumours of three possible LEGO Editions sets, thanks to carter_bricks04 on Instagram. 43028 Olivia Rodrigo Vinyl Record, 43029 Turntable, and 43031 Guitar are all said to be coming out in August of this year, marking a departure for the so far sports-focused LEGO Editions theme.
Rumoured to be made up of 360, 670, and 1,228 pieces respectively, the trio of rumoured LEGO Editions sets all focus on music. However, 43028 Olivia Rodrigo Vinyl Record is the only one said to be tied to a specific artist at this point in time. Rodrigo got her start with Disney but now is best known for her solo albums, 2021’s SOUR and 2023’s GUTS.
43029 Turntable and 43031 Guitar seem to refer to more generic sets – perhaps more similar to 43019 Football than 43014 Scuderia Ferrari HP Charles Leclerc Helmet in terms of personalisation. That’s just speculation on our part, however, and remember to take any rumoured details with a pinch of salt until we get an official confirmation from the LEGO Group.
