LEGO Formula 1 has something big planned for the Miami Grand Prix
The LEGO Group is teasing something big for the upcoming Miami Grand Prix, which is suspiciously close to a new LEGO Formula 1 launch.
A new teaser on the LEGO Group’s Instagram page, in partnership with Formula 1, is notifying fans to keep an eye on the Miami Grand Prix on May 4 for ‘something big’.

The teaser features a shot of a LEGO road, which is only big enough to fit the upcoming 71049 F1 Collectible Race Cars. That series releases on May 1, and it may tie into whatever is being shown off in Miami.
Since they will be available during the race, though, something brand new might make more sense for such a big teaser. Whatever is being teased might not be a set at all, but something related to the LEGO Formula 1 partnership.

It’s worth noting that some teams are teasing new liveries for the Miami Grand Prix. A LEGO sponsorship on one of these liveries would fit the bill of something big, though picking a team when all 10 are represented in the LEGO Formula 1 partnership would be difficult.
Whatever is being teased, we’ll know more by the end of the Miami Grand Prix 2025 on May 4. In the meantime, you can look forward to the release of 71049 F1 Collectible Race Cars on May 1, and our thorough review of all 12 miniature cars is available to read now.
