Ahead of the Fortnite live event this week, which may have the first sign of the LEGO Fortnite collaboration, a link to LEGO Insiders has surfaced.
You can now link your Epic Games account, used for Fortnite and other games, with your LEGO account via the Epic Games website. This comes following the reveal of some kind of collaboration with Fortnite.

The LEGO account has recently been merged the various aspects of the LEGO Group under one online identity, including LEGO Insiders. Whether or not this means that the LEGO Fortnite collaboration will involve LEGO Insiders in some way is unclear.
It’s worth noting that back when the service was LEGO VIP, there was a partnership with Nintendo that allowed you to link your LEGO VIP and My Nintendo accounts for free points on both services as well as exclusive rewards. Even the link on the post embedded above includes a reference to LEGO Insiders, though this may just be to email you when whatever is coming launches.
Right now, a LEGO Llama is visible in the Fortnite lobby as well as in the key art for the Big Bang event but nothing has been officially confirmed otherwise. We’ll be sure to update when we know more about this collaboration.
