LEGO plans free build event to celebrate Mothers’ Day

With Mother’s Day just around the corner in the United States, kids can build a thoughtful gift in an upcoming free LEGO event in stores.

The LEGO Group’s next free Make & Take event is just in time for Mother’s Day, taking place on May 12 in the United States this year. Visitors to various LEGO stores on April 28 between midday and 12pm will be able to build a white photo frame and take it home with them for free.

This makes the perfect gift from a child to mom on Mother’s Day, either leaving it blank for a photo to be added in at a later date or add in a favourite snap ahead of time. You can check whether your local LEGO store is taking part in the Make & Take event here. Type in your zip code and it will show your closest store and whether it has any upcoming events you might be interested in.

This particular event is only open to those in the US and Canada. It’s worth noting that there’ll be limited stock available, so get there early to avoid disappointment.
