Every LEGO Friends set retiring in 2023 and beyond – January update
You’ve only got until the end of the year to pick up 10 of the rebooted LEGO Friends sets, including 41729 Organic Grocery Store and 41732 Downtown Flower and Design Stores.
Those headline releases are among a bumper crop of LEGO Friends 2023 sets only destined to be available for 12 months, before retiring from production for good – at least at the time of writing. There’s every chance things could change between now and the end of the year, but the initial retirement date pegged for half the latest January line-up is December 31, 2023.

Among those is LEGO Friends’ biggest set to date – and its first 12+ model – in 41732 Downtown Flower and Design Stores, a 2,010-piece customisable street scene that’s taking the theme to brilliant new places. That’s amid a wider reboot for the mini-doll theme, which has this year introduced a brand new cast of characters in Heartlake City, complete with new storylines.
A total of 32 different LEGO Friends sets are due to retire in 2023, in fact, including every single product connected to the theme’s first generation of stories and characters. That will leave only 10 of the current batch of sets on shelves in 2024, alongside whatever’s in store for the theme this summer and next winter.
