The LEGO Group gives staff more holiday and bonuses after an “extraordinary” 2021

Thanks to soaring sales and profits in 2021, the LEGO Group is rewarding its hard-working staff with more holidays and bigger bonuses.

It’s been a very busy and financially successful year for the LEGO Group in 2021, so much so that they’ll be rewarding their employees with extra days off and larger bonuses. According to Bloomberg, more than 20,000 employees will receive an additional three days holiday and a little something extra when they check their pay slips in April 2022.

Two months ago, the LEGO Group reported that its operating profit had doubled for the first half of 2021, with growth in many sectors. Benjamin Hjorth, a spokesman for the company said that 2021 had been, “an extraordinary year,” and therefore the LEGO Group wants to acknowledge the contribution its employees have made to that success.

The LEGO Group is well-known for looking after its staff, with employees regularly benefiting from the company’s financial achievements. In 2015 higher than usual profits resulted in employees receiving an extra month’s salary. The LEGO Group’s long history of rewarding hard-working staff has included incentives such as childcare and paid leave to life and disability insurance.
