LEGO Harry Potter collectible wizard cards rumoured for 20th anniversary sets
This summer’s rumoured LEGO Harry Potter 20th anniversary sets may include an assortment of randomised collectible wizard cards.
That’s according to Instagram user 1414falconfan, who suggests the cards will be similar to those included in NINJAGO’s early spinners sets in 2011 and 2012. That means we’re more likely looking at LEGO-themed versions of the Harry Potter universe’s chocolate frog cards (pictured above), rather than printed tiles.
At the moment, four different 20th anniversary sets are rumoured to be launching in the summer, including 76388 Hogsmeade and 76389 Hogwarts Castle. If 1414falconfan’s information is correct, each of those sets will come with three different cards, chosen entirely at random.
Just like LEGO VIDIYO’s BeatBits, that could make collecting them all a struggle – particularly with the expected price points for the 20th anniversary range (the new Hogwarts is rumoured to clock in at $129.99).
As always, though, it’s worth bearing in mind that this is strictly a rumour at the moment, and should be treated lightly until otherwise confirmed by the LEGO Group. In the meantime, whet your appetite with the full list of rumoured 20th anniversary sets, then check out five more we’d love to see join the line-up.

- I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
