LEGO Harry Potter designers explore and explain summer 2025 sets

The LEGO Harry Potter design team is back with another in-depth guide to the summer 2025 wave of sets, exploring their features and secrets.

As shared by George Gilliatt on X and Instagram, LEGO Harry Potter designers have united once more to bring excited enthusiasts an insightful look at the full selection of LEGO Harry Potter sets. These models have been officially revealed and include the biggest addition to a LEGO Hogwarts Castle collection yet, as well as the most detailed Privet Drive build.

The video from X demonstrates how 76454 Hogwarts Castle: The Main Tower combines with 76435 Hogwarts Castle: The Great Hall as part of the biggest and most detailed LEGO Hogwarts Castle model ever. With this new addition, it’s clear that such a label is entirely accurate.

76450 Book Nook: Hogwarts Express also comes with a pair of mirrors at the back of the build for an interesting visual effect to continue the station beyond the boundaries of the build. Over on Instagram, a singular set has been focused on as George shares some major insights into 76451 Privet Drive: Aunt Marge’s Visit.

“The original sketch model for a fully enclosed Privet Drive was created by Ina, and all of the awesome graphics and figures in the set were designed by Peter and Signe,” states George on Instagram. “The most exciting part of the set is the inclusion of Inflated Aunt Marge, who is constructed using the LEGO Technic sphere element, which was originally designed to depict planet Earth!

“This latest wave of Harry Potter sets also introduces a brand new element in the form of an angled six-module bar, which is used here as a drain pipe and in 76452 Quality Quidditch Supplies & Ice Cream Parlour as the Nimbus 2000 broomstick.”

Finding innovative uses for new LEGO elements as soon as they are released is uncommon, but it only increases the appeal of the upcoming LEGO Harry Potter sets. Marge’s inflated torso elements have only appeared in two LEGO Technic sets, so far, as well.

These new LEGO Harry Potter sets are all one month away, and the only newly-revealed set not showcased by the design team in the posts is 76456 Advent Calendar 2025.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
