LEGO Harry Potter character makes minifigure debut

Despite being a long-time fan favourite, one LEGO Harry Potter character is making a long-overdue minifigure debut in an upcoming set.

As confirmed by a retail listing for LEGO Harry Potter 76423 Hogwarts Express & Hogsmeade Station, Gryffindor student and best friend of the Weasley twins, Lee Jordan, is finally making his minifigure debut. With an expected release date of June 1, he will be one of eight minifigures in the set.

Built with short legs to reflect his young age, as 76423 Hogwarts Express & Hogsmeade Station appears to be set in the first Harry Potter film, Lee Jordan appears to be holding some sort of snack in the promotional images, presumably having just bought one from the buildable trolley.

His black hair is a different piece than what’s used for Harry, but there don’t appear to be any new elements used to create Lee. Instead, the standard Gryffindor student torso and black legs are combined with a brown minifigure head to create a decent likeness for the Quidditch commentator.

Known in the books and films as a comic, often teaming up with Fred and George for various pranks and hijinks, it’s curious that he’s been posed with such a troubled expression here. Nonetheless, whatever emotions the minifigure is feeling, we’re happy to see that Lee Jordan has finally been represented in LEGO form, after all these years.
