LEGO Harry Potter 76419 Hogwarts Castle and Grounds is Architecture-adjacent

LEGO Architecture enthusiasts have one more model to look forward to this year thanks to a key inclusion in 76419 Hogwarts Castle and Grounds

At first glance, 76419 Hogwarts Castle and Grounds appears to be a smaller microscale depiction of the iconic location than in 71043 Hogwarts Castle. However, the black base surrounding the recreation and a nameplate with the name of the school might be familiar to those that enjoy LEGO Architecture

These two inclusions are standout features of LEGO Architecture sets and despite the licensed nature of 76419 Hogwarts Castle and Grounds, it should fit in excellently with any builds from the theme. The way that it captures the grounds surrounding the school is in line with Architecture models including 21058 The Great Pyramid of Giza.

Nothing on the product listing suggests that this is an official crossover between Harry Potter and Architecture, but the similarities are undoubtedly there.

With LEGO Architecture’s only 2023 release being the VIP-exclusive 40585 World of Wonders, the reveal of 76419 Hogwarts Castle and Grounds may be a welcome sight and it could offer a look into how other licensed themes could use Architecture’s key features in the future too. However, nothing more has been confirmed.

76419 Hogwarts Castle and Grounds launches on September 1, 2023, for £149.99 / $169.99 / €169.99.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
