LEGO Hidden Side website launches

To support LEGO Hidden Side, a new microsite has launched to tease fans.

It is a fair few months yet until LEGO Hidden Side arrives on August 1, but the new theme already has a website to tantalise fans. At the moment it is rather sparse, showing an image of Newbury – the fictional town in which the theme is set – which turns from bright daylight to darkness, as ghosts start popping up.

The moving image reflects the story line of Hidden Side, which will see two ordinary teenage bloggers come across some spooky happenings in their hometown. Using their mobile devices, they are able to see the paranormal activity happening around them – a not too subtle way of telling the children building the sets that their devices can bring the sets to life.

This new LEGO theme is going to demonstrate what LEGO CEO Niels B. Christiansen has been trying to articulate, that new products will attempt to combine physical and digital play. Eight sets will make up the range; 70425 High School, 70424 Train, 70423 Bus, 70422 Diner, 70421 Truck, 70420 Graveyard, 70419 Boat and 70418 Lab.
