LEGO hints at two more LEGO Botanical Collection sets
A closer look at a newly-revealed LEGO Icons Botanical Collection set suggests two more sets could potentially be on their way.
Thanks to European retailer Fnac, we’ve got our first look at 10638 Chrysanthemum and 10369 Plum Blossom, both coming to LEGO shelves on August 1. A closer inspection of the box details for the latter reveals four icons that are even more exciting, however.

The first two images appear to depict the flowering parts of both 10638 Chrysanthemum and 10369 Plum Blossom – but there are also two more on the right-hand side, suggesting that two more LEGO Botanical Collection sets are still on the way. The third could pass for 10311 Orchid, which is admittedly built in the same potted style as 10638 Chrysanthemum and 10369 Plum Blossom. However, it could also pass as a lotus or some other flower altogether. If anyone reading this is a more skilled botanist who has a better idea, do feel free to jump into the comments.
The fourth symbol is easier to identify – and it’s certainly something new to the LEGO Botanical Collection. It looks much like bamboo, a plant we’ve not yet seen in the same detailed form as we’ve come to know and love for other plants. There’s a stick of it in LEGO Friend 41049 Panda’s Bamboo but, if these symbols are indeed teases for upcoming sets, we could be set for a far more in-depth version.

Considering bamboo is made up largely of straight sticks, with some fronds on the ends, it’ll be interesting to see how the LEGO Group designers jazz up a fairly bland-looking plant. Of course, whether that’s actually on the agenda for them remains to be seen, as much of this is speculation for now – but we’ve got our fingers crossed.

I just build the Chrysanthemum set and in the build book it talks about the plants known as the four gentleman or four noble ones. Together they represent the continuous circle of the seasons. Chrysanthemum-autumn, plum- winter, orchid-spring, and bamboo-summer
I’d guess that bamboo is on its way
