LEGO House exclusive 2023 set to be revealed next month

The LEGO Group has announced it will be pulling back the curtain on this year’s LEGO House exclusive set with two special events next month.

Be sure to mark March 1, 2023 in your calendars, as that’s the day that this year’s LEGO House exclusive set will be revealed. The LEGO Group has announced that fans of all ages will be able to attend the live launch event in person and then via social media the next day, with an official Instagram post suggesting the model may well be something pirate-themed.

LEGO House exclusive sets are usually only available from the LEGO Group’s interactive attraction in Billund, Denmark, although in recent years some models have also been offered online, such as 21037 LEGO House, 40366 LEGO House Dinosaurs and 4000026 Tree of Creativity.

The latest exclusive set will be unveiled from 3.15pm GMT / 4.15pm CET / 10.15am EST on the day, with this year’s set designers, Stuart Harris and Markus Rollbühler, on hand to talk about the product, as well as the historical perspective of the model from other LEGO employees who have been involved with its development. That will then be followed by a Q&A session with the team and a meet & greet for fans who are attending in person.

If you’re planning to make the journey to Billund for the event, tickets cost 799 DKK per person (roughly £95 / $114 /€107) and include a signed copy of the mystery set priced at 599 DKK ( £71 / $85 / €81). To find out more about the launch event and to book your tickets, head over to the LEGO House site here.

An Instagram Live session reveal will then take place on March 2 at 2pm GMT / 3pm CET / 9am EST, with Harris and Rollbühler discussing fun details regarding the set, as well as presentations of early concept models and a Q&A with fans online.

Speaking of Instagram, a hint as to what this year’s exclusive set might potentially be can be seen in a sneaky post on the official LEGO House account. The tongue-in-cheek video features LEGO designer Stuart Harris decked out in pirate gear searching for a small treasure chest filled with gold that’s hidden in a drawer full of multiple LEGO pieces.

We’ll have full details of this year’s LEGO House exclusive set as soon as the model is revealed on March 1, 2023.
