LEGO ICONS 10303 Loop Coaster officially revealed

The latest addition to the LEGO Fairground Collection has been officially revealed as 10303 Loop Coaster, the first LEGO roller coaster with loops.

10303 Loop Coaster has been revealed following rumours as the first official roller coaster model to include not one, but two loops that use all-new elements. It’s the newest build in the Fairground Collection and sits alongside the retired 10261 Roller Coaster, but stands far above it at a height of 92cm – making it one of the tallest LEGO sets.

Using 3,756 pieces, 10303 Loop Coaster’s build focuses on the coaster itself with an elevator, two loops, a station and decorative elements lining the queue and track.

“When we were designing this set, we wanted to recreate the feeling experienced when it just begins to tip over the highest point. Perfect for play or display, we are excited to add this set to the LEGO Fairground Collection.” shared designer Pierre Normandin.

The 11 included minifigures expand on 10261 Roller Coaster’s roster of eight characters with more than enough minifigures to fill up the coaster before grabbing a snack at the pretzel or hot dog stand. After all, we’re not sure that eating before boarding 10303 Loop Coaster would be wise.

You’ll be able to pick up 10303 Loop Coaster starting on July 5 in stores and online for £344.99 / $399.99 / €399.99. As part of the newly-renamed LEGO ICONS range, it features plenty of details to spot in the above gallery of images, including on-ride photos and a rule-breaking balloon.
