A closer look at the upcoming 10318 Concorde reveals that the LEGO Icons build appears to include a number of potential new pieces.

The LEGO Group announced this week that 10318 Concorde would be taking off next month, with the 2,083-piece LEGO Icons model soaring into view priced at £169.99 / $199.99 / €199.99. In addition, it appears that the LEGO Icons build also comes with multiple new pieces, as highlighted in detail by New Elementary. A recent Instagram post showcased a range of elements that appear to be making their debut in 10318 Concorde, many of which might have the potential to pop up in future sets at some point.

Highlights include a new 4×4 windscreen, which may in fact be a printed piece, as well as a dark blue 1x6x1 slope element on the aircraft’s tail section and a 4x4x3 truncated cone as part of the plane’s iconic nose. New coloured pieces mentioned are medium nougat Technic ‘comma’ panels for seats and white 1×3 round plates in the wings, with what appear to be a number of printed or stickered logos dotted around the supersonic model.

We’ll find out for sure when 10318 Concorde arrives on September 4 for VIP members priced at £169.99 / $199.99 / €199.99, with a wider release taking off on September 7. For more details on the upcoming high-flying LEGO Icons set, check out our visual tour and gallery right here.
