10297 Boutique Hotel depicts a large hotel with an adjoining art gallery, reflecting similar design choices in other Modular Building sets. The hotel itself features a highly angular design, ensuring it’ll stand out in any modular street.
Three floors are included in the hotel: the ground floor features the lobby, complete with front desk, luggage trolley, a sofa and several room keys. The first floor features a pair of budget guest rooms; these include amenities such as beds, wardrobes and even a typewriter. The top floor of the hotel is rather more luxurious, featuring an ensuite, a double bed and even a television.
Outside the hotel is a small bar, complete with two small tables and a lavishly detailed palm tree. The adjoining gallery is small, but filled with artwork – including a sculpture of the LEGO Creator Expert logo. This branding was used for older releases in the Modular Buildings line, making it a great Easter egg for LEGO fans. There’s also a small coffee cart to wake guests up in the morning.
With seven minifigures (including hotel staff, guests and a coffee seller) some offbeat colour choices and numerous references to other Modular Building sets, this is a great addition to your LEGO Modular Building collection.
