LEGO Ideas 21348 Dungeons & Dragons alternate builds revealed

Three alternate builds based around 21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale have been revealed by the LEGO Group’s social media.

The LEGO Group and Wizards of the Coast have continued to support the release of 21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale beyond its launch, with a recent live game night event featuring players campaigning together with the massive 3,745-piece model.

The LEGO Ideas set has also received its own downloadable adventure, GWP and designer signings, and now the company’s social media platforms are getting in on the act. A short promotional video has been released by TLG that features three alternate builds (or Rebuilds) for 21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale, providing fans with even more model-making possibilities.

The video shows the grey tower in the LEGO Ideas set being transformed into a dice tower, its tavern becoming a handy pencil holder and the dungeon and tower sections reconstructed as impressive bookends. While there’s currently no way to download the instructions for the alternate 21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale builds, it’s possible they could always appear on DnD Beyond or as potential future LEGO Insiders rewards.

In addition to the Rebuilds, an updated landing page for 21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale on LEGO.com has added a quick behind-the-scenes video of the recent games night event (although a more in-depth look can be found here), plus a custom soundtrack and sound effects to accompany epic roleplaying campaigns.

21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale is available to purchase right now, priced at £314.99 / $359.99 / €359.99. You can find out everything you need to know about the LEGO Ideas model in our full in-depth review right here.
