Behind the scenes of the LEGO Dungeons & Dragons game night

The LEGO Group and one of the players have provided a more in-depth look behind the scenes of the recent LEGO Dungeons & Dragons game.

For the release of 21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale, the LEGO Group recently hosted a one-of-a-kind game night featuring a giant LEGO table. This saw Anjali Bhimani lead Luiz Carazo, Ginny Di, design manager Jordan Scott and fan designer Lucas Bolt through the Red Dragon’s Tale adventure, which is available digitally for free now.

While the LEGO Group is advertising a behind-the-scenes video on the official online store, it currently consists of a few short clips lasting less than 30 seconds. Thankfully, Ginny Di has uploaded another video offering a better look at the experience.

Everything from the promotional photoshoot to a better view of the giant LEGO D&D table is featured in the video and it offers an extensive guide to what it was like heading to Billund for a LEGO game night.

The artwork featured in the video at four minutes in is similar to some of the advertising featured on D&D Beyond and it has yet to be fully released. This is the best publically-released look at the LEGO D&D art so far.

LEGO Ideas 21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale is available now for £314.99 / $359.99 / €359.99 without the additional extras offered at launch, which now fetch a high price.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
