LEGO Ideas 6544433 Entrance Gate gift-with-purchase review

LEGO Ideas 6544433 Entrance Gate is as thematically relevant as you would hope when buying the much grander 21353 The Botanical Garden this November.

LEGO Insiders who purchase LEGO Ideas 21353 The Botanical Garden at LEGO.com or in LEGO Stores during launch week (November 1 to 7) will receive a free copy of 6544433 Entrance Gate, while stocks last.

LEGO Ideas 6544433 Entrance Gate gift with purchase review 2 1024x683

Designed in the same way with a snippet of that same white Victorian architecture, in the form of an entranceway with path enveloped by numerous flowers and plant-life each side, 6544433 Entrance Gate is a perfect tie-in for anyone with eyes on the equally impressive 21353 The Botanical Garden.

Most surprising with 6544433 Entrance Gate is the variety of plants that are included, such as the new rose and tulip flower pieces that are otherwise dotted throughout 21353 The Botanical Garden. Complete with another gardener minifigure to add to the collection, this is a gift-with-purchase that feels very nicely planned out to serve as a credible companion piece to 21353.

Perhaps the only conflict in design is that it sits on a base of standard LEGO plates, where the larger set is built atop two baseplates. The mismatch in depth of those elements means that this won’t necessarily hook on to 21353 The Botanical Garden as seamlessly as you might expect – but in the absence of another solution, a slight step down from the entranceway to the main path is easy to forgive.

LEGO Ideas 6544433 Entrance Gate is available to LEGO Insiders only who purchase 21353 The Botanical Garden from November 1 to 7 at LEGO.com or in LEGO Stores, while stocks last.
