LEGO Ideas celebrates 15 years with a huge contest

The LEGO Ideas team are celebrating 15 years of the theme with a massive contest that will see the winner win a trip to Billund and more.

LEGO Ideas started in 2008, despite its first being released in 2011, back when the theme was called CUUSOO. To celebrate the 15th anniversary of what has become one of the LEGO Group’s biggest product lines, the team have launched a massive competition that includes a trip to Billund up for grabs.

To win the contest all you need to do is build something that represents what LEGO Ideas means to you, within the challenge’s guidelines and rules. The most important rule is that your model must include the number 15 somewhere.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.

I think there would be an enthusiastic response to a star trek set. The Enterprise would be a fun way to start.
