LEGO Ideas Disney Mickey Mouse 21317 Steamboat Willie available now

The latest LEGO Ideas set, 21317 Steamboat Willie, featuring Mickey and Minnie, created in collaboration with Disney, is availble now.

Tasking the product idea from Máté “szabomate90” Szabó as a starting point, the LEGO design team has paid homage to the original Disney Mickey Mouse short in 21317 Steamboat Willie. This latest set in the LEGO Ideas set is series is available now for the very first time.

To recreate a cartoon classic, the model uses 751 pieces and two exclusive minifigures to capture the charm of the historic piece of animation. The set is available exclusively at shop.LEGO.com.

Disney Mickey Mouse fans will love this LEGO Ideas 21317 Steamboat Willie building toy marking the 90th anniversary of the most famous cartoon character ever. Mickey Mouse made his screen debut in a 1928 black-and-white animated short film called ‘Steamboat Willie’, which was also the first Disney film to have synchronized sound. This LEGO brick version of the S.S. Willie features steam pipes that move up and down and paddle wheels that rotate when the boat is pushed along.
