LEGO Ideas launches Fabuland contest to win signed set

A new LEGO Ideas challenge has launched, offering up a signed copy of the exclusive and elusive 40506 LEGO Fabuland Tribute to the winner.

Following the reveal of the latest LEGO House-exclusive set, those further from Billund may have been disappointed to see that a new Fabuland set is being sold exclusively at the attraction and is unlikely to be made available easily any other way. Thankfully, LEGO Ideas is offering a solution for three enthusiasts.

A new challenge has launched on LEGO Ideas with all prizes including a copy of 40506 LEGO Fabuland Tribute. The brief is to tell a story using LEGO pieces, and aside from avoiding any and all IP and brands, there aren’t many specific rules to keep in mind.

There will be one grand prize winner and two runners-up in this challenge, and everyone who wins is going home with a copy of 40506 LEGO Fabuland Tribute.

The LEGO Ideas blog post announcing the challenge states that a signed copy of 40506 LEGO Fabuland Tribute is up for grabs, but there’s no sign of which prize this is included in as part of the challenge page. Presumably, the copy of the set in the grand prize package will be signed.

This challenge is accepting entries from now until April 9, with a fan vote from April 28 to May 7 before the winners are announced on May 16. You can take a closer look at the 2025 LEGO House exclusive set in our in-depth review.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
