LEGO Ideas Fortnite challenge fan vote now open

LEGO Ideas users are being invited to vote for their favourite entry into the LEGO Ideas Fortnite challenge with over 170 builds to pick between.

Halloween may have passed for 2024 but the LEGO Ideas Fortnite Halloween challenge continues with the fan vote phase. While the contest page may state that the expert review has passed, the LEGO Ideas team have confirmed that this is an error. The fan vote is up first then the expert review from November 7 to November 12.

That leaves you with a six-day window to pick your favourite project with one vote per user between the 178 submissions into the challenge. This will help to influence the expert review phase and the winner will be announced on November 18 at the latest.

Everything from Castles to undead pizza is available to vote for and we’d recommend taking some time to look through the submissions. The grand prize winner will take home a huge selection of sets and two runners-up will receive a smaller prize package. Everyone who is chosen as one of 15 finalists will also score some bonus LEGO Fortnite loot according to the LEGO Ideas blog.

Finalists will also have the opportunity to have their model memorialised within Fortnite via a LEGO Island with a plaque letting everyone know who designed which creation. Arguably, this is the most exciting prize.

The contest will wrap up later this month and don’t forget that another LEGO Ideas fan vote is now open that will result in a future set in the theme too.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
