LEGO Ideas 40786 Micro Command Center Insiders reward delayed

LEGO Insiders members hoping to add 40786 Micro Command Center to their collections this weekend will have to wait a little longer for the reward.

In addition to the many new LEGO March 2025 releases landing this weekend, a recently-revealed Insiders reward was also supposed to have been available yesterday. Those expecting to have snagged a copy of 40786 Micro Command Center on that date will no doubt have been disappointed to discover that the 214-piece LEGO Ideas set was a no-show.

40786 Micro Command Center was planned to be added as an Insiders Reward on March 1, with the model confirmed to cost 2,000 points. The LEGO Ideas set is intended to be a companion to last year’s 40712 Micro Rocket Launchpad, with the former based on FlyingUFO’s winning monorail-centric design.

However, there was no sign of 40786 Micro Command Center yesterday and the model has yet to be added to the Insiders Rewards Centre at the time of this writing. According to a follow-up post on the official LEGO Ideas blog regarding the set, there’s still no date available for when the set will be arriving.

“I don’t have an update yet. We’re not sure what the hold up is,” said LEGO Ideas team moderator BrickSon, “but our team us working behind the scenes to get this reward launched.

“I know this isn’t what you were all expecting, and I wish I had more info to share. We’ll update the community as soon as we know more. We can all give our refresh button a break now.”

The delay of 40786 Micro Command Center appears to have frustrated many community members, with a lack of any specific reason or a revised date and time for the release resulting in many questioning why the LEGO Ideas set missed its planned launch window.

As soon as 40786 Micro Command Center does go live as a LEGO Insiders reward, we’ll be sure to let you know.
