A LEGO artist has created a life-size, fully functional pool table made entirely from LEGO bricks, meaning it can actually be used for a game.
Nathan Sawaya, known for his large-scale LEGO mosaics and sculptures, posted the impressive build to his 96,000 Instagram followers, where it quickly went viral.
The LEGO artist used 93,075 pieces to construct the lifesize working model, including countless green tiles to recreate the smooth felt surface of a real pool table.
Because pool tables rely on precise engineering – perfectly level surfaces, responsive cushions along the rails, and accurately shaped pockets that guide ball movement – Sawaya had to ensure the LEGO version replicated these fundamentals closely enough for gameplay to actually work.
He also shared snapshots from inside the build, revealing how the real internal rails and pockets are integrated within the LEGO structure.

Sawaya even built the balls – or as close to spheres as can be made from LEGO bricks – to ensure the game remained fully playable while still entirely LEGO.
Since being posted, the video has amassed more than 1.6 million views and 115,000 likes on Instagram.
The post also sparked comments from fans. One user, luckyletsgo16, wrote: “Probably more expensive then a normal pool table but still cool,” to which Sawaya replied: “93k bricks ain't cheap! But so much fun to make!”

He also confirmed in the comments that the build is not for sale, meaning anyone hoping to recreate it would have to figure out the engineering and design for themselves.
Sawaya, a former attorney, is best known as the artist behind Art of the Brick, an exhibition that has toured museums around the world.
