LEGO Ideas wants your miniature cities for new Architecture activity

A new LEGO Ideas activity has begun a search for miniature cities and landmarks to showcase, possibly inspired by the Architecture line.

Only one LEGO Architecture set has been confirmed for 2022 at the time of writing with 21057 Singapore now available to purchase. However, the team at LEGO Ideas are eager to see what other places around the world can be recreated at a smaller scale as their latest activity is asking for miniature cities and other locations.

From somewhere you visit frequently to a place that you’ve always wanted to see, anywhere in the world and beyond is eligible for the latest challenge on the platform. The 38 entries submitted so far include real cities as well as futuristic and fantastical locations.

While the topic of the challenge might lead you to draw inspiration from LEGO Architecture’s skylines and small scale sets, one submission is based on 10278 Police Station. There are plenty of models both modular and standalone to recreate for the activity, but don’t take too long as it closes on January 25.

As with most other LEGO Ideas activities, there is no prize to earn for entering and your builds should avoid taboo subjects outlined on the challenge webpage.

21057 Singapore is available now on the official online store as well as the 2021 addition to the theme – 21056 Taj Mahal – which we reviewed in full last year.
