Every LEGO Ideas set retiring in 2023 and beyond – June update

As 21341 Disney Hocus Pocus: The Sanderson Sisters’ Cottage joins the LEGO Ideas line-up, here’s the latest update on when the rest of the theme’s sets are due to retire.

Just three LEGO Ideas sets are now due to leave shelves in 2023, as 21331 Sonic the Hedgehog – Green Hill Zone will remain in production into 2024. That means only 21325 Medieval Blacksmith, 21326 Winnie the Pooh and 21337 Table Football are currently scheduled to retire before the year is out. Of those, the Blacksmith is the one to not miss out on – especially as it pairs so well thematically with the newly-revealed Hocus Pocus set.

Another trio of LEGO Ideas sets are destined to hang around into 2025, meanwhile – among which is 21341 Disney Hocus Pocus: The Sanderson Sisters’ Cottage – while everything else will retire by the end of 2024. That includes this year’s 21339 BTS Dynamite, as well as veteran LEGO Ideas sets such as 21318 Tree House and 21323 Grand Piano.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
