LEGO Ideas Ultimate Space Exploration postcard challenge revealed

A new LEGO Ideas postcard challenge based around 21340 Tales of the Space Age and space exploration has been revealed.

Details of the latest LEGO Ideas challenge have now been announced, with multiple space-based prizes up for grabs including a copy of 21340 Tales of the Space Age signed by the set’s designers. Creative types are being asked to use their imaginations and build or design their own Ultimate Space Exploration postcards that show off the wonders of the universe we live in.

The rules of the new LEGO Ideas challenge state that submissions, ‘could be another planet, the pillars of creation, or something else entirely,’ so it seems like you’ll have the entire breadth of the galaxy and beyond to play with. In addition, entries have to show the whole model or design in the main images, not copy the designs in 21340 Tales of the Space Age, and drawn or digitally-designed submissions should be created with a LEGO element style. Oh, and no AI-created art will be accepted either.

Up for grabs is an intergalactic line-up of prizes that includes a copy of 21340 Tales of the Space Age signed by the set’s designers, 10283 NASA Space Shuttle Discovery, 10266 NASA Apollo 11 Lunar Lander, 10497 Galaxy Explorer and 60350 Lunar Research Base.

All entries must be submitted no later than August 29 at 6am EST and details of the Grand Prize Winner will be announced shortly after.
